House of Hamill

House of Hamill is a Celtic/folk trio that specializes in upcycled murder ballads, high-energy instrumentals, and sophisticated original songs. A fixture at folk venues and on festival stages across the US, House of Hamill writes about stories and characters that inspire them—those found in dusty books of ancient folk tales or late-night episodes of true crime podcasts. Whether they’re ripping through a set of original jigs and reels, singing Appalachian-inspired songs full of lush three-part harmonies, or cracking up a crowd with stories from the road, House of Hamill puts on a show that captivates audiences from the very first note.

“Absolutely electrifying... mesmerizing melodies that redefine what’s traditional, with personality and verve.”
-Paul MacArthur, Celticradio.net

The trio has brought their frenetic energy to festivals and venues such as Milwaukee Irish Festival (WI), Philadelphia Folk Festival (PA), Lancaster Festival (OH), KVMR Celtic Festival (CA), Ed Reavy Trad Fest (Ireland), Asheville Celtic Fest (NC), Syracuse Irish Festival (NY), Bitterroot Celtic Gathering (MT), Pike’s Peak Celtic Festival (CO), The Ramble (MA), Musikfest (PA), Great American Irish Festival (NY), Celtic Classic (PA), St. Augustine Celtic Festival (FL), and Celtic Fling (PA).
