Ever More Nest
Rooted in Southern musical traditions and infused with confessional 90s angst, the music of Ever More Nest can likewise lull and rock you right off a front porch.
Ever More Nest’s dynamic, homegrown voice—hugged by lush, church-pew harmonies—is complemented by ghostly, effusive band arrangements and rhythm steady as a country train. Whether in a cinematic crescendo of all-consuming sound or in a quiet soliloquy of only voice and guitar, Ever More Nest's Kelcy Wilburn allows audiences to wade deep into the waters of their humanness or stay safely ashore, where the rhythm of waves—the steady rock and roll—bring contentedness and joy.
“Killer...combines laid-back roots music, stellar songwriting, and vocals that make even the deepest, darkest pain sound sweet."
- Outsider Magazine
Ever More Nest's sophomore album Out Here Now (2022) garnered notable premieres, features, reviews, radio plays and playlist adds, and the single "What's Gone Is Gone" reached #1 on the RMR Contemporary Folk Songs Chart. The artist has experience in all venue environments, from small, seated listening rooms and clubs/bars to esteemed venues like the Kennedy Center and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
